Our Primary Phase
Our children are at the heart of everything we do at Saint George’s. Through the delivery of our curriculum, we aspire for all of our children to be challenged, and develop into independent, successful, safe, and happy learners, ready to tackle the next stage of their education with hope and confidence. At Saint George’s we have a unique opportunity to develop children from the age of four to eighteen in a safe and caring environment that puts the individual first.
Through our school vision and shared Christian values of Creativity, Honesty, Resilience, Inclusion, Stewardship, and Thankfulness, our children are able to learn, have fun and grow together, being the best they can be for themselves, for God, and for others.
We are a part of Aletheia Academies Trust. Our school promotes a safe, orderly, caring, and supportive environment. Each pupil’s self-esteem is fostered by positive relationships with staff and effective communication with parents. We strive to include our parents, teachers, governors and community to ensure strong liaisons with the community.
About Saint George's Primary Phase
Outdoor Learning is hugely important for our school and Forest School forms a large part of our Curriculum. We believe children learn best when they are active and motivated in and by everything the outdoor environment has to offer.
We work closely with our parents and carers, developing positive relationships, and enabling us to collaborate and communicate well with each other. This partnership is vital to enable us to do the very best for your child.
As an all-through school, we also have access to the huge range of expertise and facilities on offer at the secondary phase, such as specialist subject colleagues teaching in the primary phase, playing fields, a library, science laboratories, and music resources.
From the moment children join Saint George’s Primary Phase they become part of our dedicated and successful community where we value each individual and will nurture their special talents.
